e-Learning Africa Roundtable Conference hosted by Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and Korea Education & Research Information Service

 

Objectives

     (a) make a solid contribution to the e-Learning Africa which is the biggest event in            this area in Africa

     (b) explore the possibility of an African-specific ICT education core course in            2009, linking with the ICT global course

     (c) brain-storm to raise awareness and understanding about essential elements            of an effective ICT in education strategy including relevant policies and best            practices.

     (d) construct a follow-up network to sustain customized consultations to the            African countries through the synergetic links among eLA-the global            course-African regional course.  

     (e) Find out the needs and future collaborative areas of ICT in education of           African countries 

 

Participants

50 participants including government officials, NGO staffs, academia, and private sectors from 18 countries
