KERIS signs Memorandums of Understanding with World Bank ㆍ Digital Promise ㆍ Inter-American Development Bank

The Korea Education and Research Information Service(KERIS) has signed Memorandums of Understanding(MOUs) with the World Bank, Digital Promise, and the Inter-American Development Bank on a recent mission to expand global cooperation in Washington D.C. The MOUs aim to establish a foundation of collaboration to support educational innovation in developing countries by sharing Korea's experiences with using ICT in education. 
The main objectives of the MOUs include △(World Bank)holding the Global Symposium on ICT in Education(GSIE) and conducting research on innovative and effective ICT in education policies, △(Digital Promise)establishing an innovative network for teachers between Korea and the United States, △(IDB)enhancing digital capacities Central and South America. Through this MOU, it is expected that Korea 's excellent ICT in education policy experience will spread to Latin America and the Caribbean, and opportunities for educational cooperation between Korea and Latin American countries will be expanded.
