KERIS Holds 'Global Symposium on ICT in Education 2017'

From October 25 to 27, KERIS held the "Global Symposium on ICT in Education 2017" in cooperation with the World Bank and UNESCO Bangkok, the Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education.

More than 80 people, including education policy makers from 29 developing countries, experts from international organizations such as the World Bank, UNESCO, and ICT in Education experts attended the symposium, organized under the theme of 'Digital Citizenship in the 4th Industrial Revolution.'

At the symposium, which marked its 11th anniversary focused on the definition and composition of digital citizenship in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the linkage between national policies and curricula and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Delegates also visited the school site (Seoul Hansan Elementary School) and had time to see how these efforts were being made.
